If you're asking if the soda can will float in pure water, there are a few possible answers. If the soda inside the can has a density of 1.0 g/mL, then the can would sink because the total density of the aluminum and the soda is greater than that of water. If you dropped the can in water, the inertia would take the can to the bottom and it would remain there since it's the same density as the water.
